Illegal Dumping: A Growing Concern for NSW Communities

Illegal dumping is an escalating issue in NSW, costing the state $10 million annually.

A recent dispute in North Sydney highlights the frustration this problem causes. Residents were dismayed when a massive pile of bamboo was dumped by a neighbour, creating an eyesore and frustration for locals.

Despite multiple complaints to the council and real estate agents, no immediate action was taken. This led locals to seek alternative solutions, including using Snap Send Solve.

Our CEO Danny Gorog notes that in New South Wales, “Dumped rubbish reports are solved 93 per cent of the time, and normally take a little less than three weeks to solve.”
