Snaps relating to broken playground equipment have soared in the past year. From January to November of 2023 there have been 3,254 Snaps, an increase of 23% from the previous year.
Herald Sun reporter, Suzan Delibasic, interviewed Snapper Nick Vinciullo about his recent encounter with some broken play equipment. Taking his children to a local park, Nick noticed that a spinning toy had fallen off and left a dangerous piece of metal poking up. “Thankfully, as soon as I reported it, someone came right out to fit it”.
