Nine News: Community safety sentiment declining

Nine News recently featured a key national issue: the sliding sentiment around safety in Australian communities, using data gathered by Snap Send Solve.

The survey findings show a concerning trend across the country:

  • More than one in three Australians feel less safe in their community than they did last year.
  • The concern is highest in Victoria, with 45% of respondents reporting growing issues with security.
  • Queensland saw 30% of respondents reporting less safety, while New South Wales reported 26%.
