Bin Nights: Get fewer missed-bin requests

Few council services are as visible as bin night, and few are as easy for residents to get wrong.

But with Bin Nights, we help your residents remember which bin goes out when, check what belongs in each one, and report bin issues in a few taps, so your team spends less time fielding missed-bin requests.

It’s free for all Snappers and Solvers, no matter where they live across Australia and New Zealand.

For your team, that means fewer missed-bin requests, less time solving bin issues, and less waste contamination.

Bin night reminders for Snappers

We’ll remind your residents which bins to take out, when. When Snappers add their home address in the Snap Send Solve app, we populate their bin schedule and send them a reminder every bin night.

Residents whose councils give us their bin schedules can set up reminders in two taps; others do so manually. Sharing your schedule with us also means you can update it when collections change, so your community always has the right information.

Spend less time solving bin issues

When a bin needs attention – after a missed collection, damaged bin, or if one goes missing – Snappers can send you a report in just a few taps.

Using Snap Send Solve for bin requests gives you high-quality reports that route straight to your Waste team or contractor. No more fielding and triaging phone calls.

Less waste contamination

Red, purple, green, blue: it’s easy for residents to lose track of what goes in each bin, especially as councils introduce FOGO and glass-separation bins. Bin Nights gives Snappers a quick and easy lookup, so they can check where a dirty pizza box or scrunched-up plastic packet belongs.

With an easy way to look up what rubbish goes where, Snappers are less likely to contaminate recycling and organics bins, and more likely to use them.
