Feeling unsafe in your suburb? You’re not alone

A recent report by Seven News highlighted a serious issue: many Victorians are feeling less safe in their own neighbourhoods.

In fact, almost half (45%) of residents feel less secure in their own neighbourhood than last year, and a shocking two in five would even move if they could.

Our CEO, Danny Gorog, explained the key connection between this anxiety and the visual state of a community:

"When you see things that are unsightly, graffiti, vandalism, abandoned trolleys, dumped rubbish, it gives an overall feeling of being unsafe."

This is where you come in. Dealing with these smaller issues, the graffiti, the dumped rubbish, and the vandalism, is key to improving the overall feeling of community well-being. So if you spot something that needs a little attention, Snap to it.
