A mobile phone app that helps residents report issues needing council attention has lodged thousands of reports since it was launched in 2012. The Snap Send Solve app has been used by Brimbank residents to report problems in their community such as dumped rubbish, parking, trees, and pavement problems. More than 5000 reports have been made for council attention, a rate of nearly two a day.
The app allows residents to take a photo of a problem and send it on to the council for action.
